Digital mapping of the extent of floods within Hampshire.
Immediately after the floods of winter 2000-2001, Environment Agency in Hampshire captured oblique aerial photography of the Rivers Test and Itchen. GeoData georeferenced these oblique images and captured the flood extent from them.
These data were then augmented with a vector dataset of damage reports (flooding type) from ground based survey / reports.
