 By Road

By Road

From the North use M3 - Exit M3 at Junction 14, following signs for "Southampton A33". Follow the A33 into Bassett Avenue and through two roundabouts until you arrive at a major intersection. Continue straight through the traffic lights and go onto The Avenue, then take the first turning on the left (Highfield Avenue). Turn left at the second junction into Hawthorn Road.

From the East or West use M27 - Exit M27 at junction 5 (Southampton Airport / Eastleigh). If coming from the east, take the first left off the roundabout. If coming from the west, use the third left. Follow the A335 dual carriageway through two sets of traffic lights. At the third set, the road divides. Follow the right hand lane and continue onto Burgess Road. After about 3/4 of a mile along Burgress Road, turn left at the traffic light and follow onto The Avenue. Take the first left again and drive onto the Highfield Avenue. Turn left at the second junction into Hawthorn Road.

There are frequent fast trains from London Waterloo to Southampton Airport (Parkway) or Southampton Central. Taxis are available at either station. From Portsmouth, Salisbury or Bournemouth directions use Southampton Central.

Southampton Airport Information
Southampton International Airport is situated next to Southampton Airport (Parkway) Railway Station, a few minutes taxis will take you to the university. There is a full UK domestic services, as well as flights from Ireland and the Channel Islands.
