Online Questionnaire Management System
GeoData have developed a generic web-based questionnaire system, allowing respondents to enter complex and many-page questionnaires over a number of sessions.
Based on industry standard Linux, Apache and MySQL web technologies, together with in-house developed PHP modules, the system supports validation and conditional entry, results are stored in a relational DBMS and can be viewed or exported directly from the website through an administration interface.
The system was initially developed and customised for the National Physical Laboratory, successfully delivering a complex, 40 page Earth Observation questionnaire to data providers.
