Food Security Activity Tracking System - FS-ATMIS

The FAO have been developing an international programme for monitoring interventions and actions for food security. GeoData Institute has worked with the FAO in Rome to development the specification for the data management and database structure, developing the tools and manuals used by in-country data capture staff to collect the relevant interventions information and have developed an online web based database, query and presentation tools to search and summarise the interventions, partners, actions and budget allocations. This sophisticated programme seeks to collect and correlate intervention actions with the food security delivery and policy objectives.
