CLIM-IQ: Climate Change Observatory for South Asia.

This preparatory phase of the Clim-IQ programme will develop a program of works designed to address the need for coordinated and policy relevant information on the potential impacts of climate change across South Asia by supporting the development of a regionally owned research strategy, a climate observatory with investments in the basic climate observation infrastructure, a climate information front page - a portal guiding users access to scenarios, data and tools - and for a linking users and providers of climate information. This will yield a more effective and coherent response to research needs. The GeoData institute will be providing expert and technical input in the field of multi-disciplinary research, workshop facilitation and communications.
