CLIMAFRICA - Establishing Governance Response Frameworks to Climate Change Impacts on Development in

Working with 10 case study countries in sub- Saharan Africa GeoData is responsible for establishing an overall project framework linking the work of the project partners to risk analysis and the development of climate change socio-environmental scenarios for policy development with agencies of government. The development of policy will address the need for government to:

• Respond to livelihood and agricultural pressure from climate change


• Develop appropriate adaptive and mitigation responses


• Plan for changes in economic and government structure to respond to the demands of climate change

The project closely engages a broad profile of stakeholders both in terms of the development of the project but also in terms of weighting the development of vulnerability maps and the development of scenarios and their responses.
