Capacity Building in Flood Vulnerability Mapping

Course delivery of the SEVA (Socio- Environmental Vulnerability Analysis) methodology delivered to representatives of government in India & Bangladesh. Ministerial and NGO staff were involved in 5 day courses with field components elements to develop the skills to start vulnerability mapping. The process is supported by the development of a training manual.
This document will now be circulated in the 10 countries which constitute the ICIMOD remit for the development of the vulnerability mapping courses and training, supported by GIS & community mapping methods.
