Coastal Access in Hampshire
Coastal recreation and access has risen up the agenda promoted by Defra's proposals for new legislation to grant access. GeoData has been examining in detail, and creating a geospatial database to support Hampshire CC analysis of access provision.
GeoData has collated the extent of access, environmental pressures and constraints to access to the Hampshire coastline and has created a geospatial database to support Hampshire County Council analysis of the extent and gaps in access provision.
