Aerial photo training
Aerial photographs have provided an important dataset for the interpretation of land cover and boundaries within the mapping of Open Country under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
GeoData Institute has been supporting the training of Countryside Agency staff undertaking the mapping under the CROW Act 2000 and in particular the interpretation of aerial photography. We have developed training on the datasets used and on aerial photographic interpretation. These courses have been delivered a number of times at the Agency's offices and have been made available to the Agency to support internal training through online delivery.
