A tailor made course for WSCC including migration from ArcView 3.2 to ArcGIS 9.1 and also 's map production for WSCC's public rights of way and parking restrictions mapping.
The course covered software migration from ArcView 3.2 to ArcGIS 9.1, including "how to" questions in the new version, data conversion, new features etc.
In addition, the course also focussed on the day-to-day GIS tasks undertaken by WSCC within ArcView 3.2 (e.g. the production of rights of way and parking restrictions maps) and showed how to do this in ArcGIS and how to improve the process.
The course also drew in additional experts from GeoData to provide demonstrations of mobile GIS / GPS for data collection and also automated map production for large print runs.
