Data sourcing, the location of appropriate, quality-assured datasets from which to drive projects and applications requires experience of the data markets, data standards, licencing and copyright issues.
GeoData has undertaken many data sourcing commissions, particularly in the environmental and socio-economic GIS sectors; allowing us to provide advice on the most appropriate datasets for particular applications.
We have undertaken sourcing in the UK, but also to support projects overseas.
