Environment

GeoData was established in 1984 as a contract environmental research and consultancy service agency for the University of Southampton, to converge the needs of external agencies with the interests and expertise within the University. The University of Southampton has an established, internationally recognised reputation in scientific, engineering and technologies for environmental management.

Through its blend of academic and professional consultancy services the GeoData Institute offers an broad-ranging, integrated and multidisciplinary capability focusing on environmental research, planning and management, but also encompassing social, economic, legal and technical expertise.
