A tool to generate customised charts and maps illustrating maternal health around the world.
The White Ribbon Alliance is an advocacy group for maternal health issues worldwide, lobbying for political priority for maternal health towards eliminating preventable maternal and neonatal deaths.
The WRA approached GeoData to help them create accurate and persuasive graphs from their global data. We developed a tool to generate customised charts and maps, allowing visualisations and comparisons to be targetted towards whatever audience and tailored to whatever issue is at hand, using common open source technologies including google visualizations.
The Atlas of Birth has recently been extended with a UK version, showcasing national maternal health statistics.
