GeoData have collaborated with colleagues in the University's department of History on a number of projects exploring Medieval and Tudor Shipping, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research (AHRC), Leverhulme and other foundations.

Developing complex project databases to manage and analyse the research data, and interactive web search and map visualisation to disseminate the project outputs, the GeoData team have been responsible for all technical aspects of these innovative projects.
